Visa sponsorship
Companies that sponsor visas
H-1B filings, what each company pays by role and level, and whether it holds a UK sponsor licence — straight from US Department of Labor, USCIS and UK Home Office data.
Company pages are on their way. In the meantime, check any company or job post with the free checker.
How to read the data
H-1B applications (LCAs)
Before hiring on an H-1B, an employer files a Labor Condition Application with the US Department of Labor, stating the job, location and offered wage. A certified LCA shows the company intended to sponsor for that role — the salaries on these pages come from those filings.
USCIS approvals
USCIS publishes how many H-1B petitions each employer had approved. It confirms sponsorship actually happened, but its data is older than the Labor Department's, so we show both with their dates.
UK sponsor licence
UK employers need a Home Office licence to hire on a Skilled Worker visa. We check each company against the official register; an A rating means the licence is in good standing.
Visa sponsorship questions
- What does it mean when a company sponsors a visa?
- The employer applies on your behalf for a work visa — in the US usually an H-1B, in the UK a Skilled Worker visa — and commits to the wage and conditions the visa requires. Without a sponsor, most foreign nationals can't take the job.
- If a company has many H-1B filings, will it sponsor me?
- Not necessarily. Filings show the company sponsors for some roles, often specific ones (the pages list which). Sponsorship depends on the role, your qualifications and the company's needs — check the job post or ask the recruiter early.
- How current is this data?
- Filings come from the most recent 12 months the US Department of Labor has published (it releases data quarterly, with a lag); USCIS approvals and the UK register carry their own dates, shown on each page.
- How do I check a specific job?
- Paste the job post into the free visa sponsor checker: it looks up the employer in the US and UK registers and gives the pay benchmark for that exact title and level.
