How to read the data
UK employers need a sponsor licence from the Home Office to hire people on a Skilled Worker visa and other work routes. The Home Office publishes the full register of licensed sponsors and updates it most working days; we refresh our copy every month.
Organisations are grouped by the town or city on the register, which is usually their registered or main UK address — a company can hire in other places too.
Questions
- Does a sponsor licence mean the company will sponsor me?
- A licence means the company may sponsor; the job itself must also meet the route's skill and salary rules, and the company has to choose to sponsor for it.
- What is the Skilled Worker route?
- The main UK work visa for people with a job offer from a licensed sponsor. Most sponsors on the register are licensed for it.
- My target company isn't in this city's list — what now?
- It may be registered at another address. Search any company UK-wide with the free visa sponsor checker.
