Build your story bank

Behavioral interviews test the same dozen qualities — leadership, ownership, conflict, failure and so on. A handful of true stories, each in situation → task → action → result form, answers most of them. Prepare them once and reuse them everywhere.

Step by step

  1. 1

    Draft stories from your experience

On AI Interview → Story Bank, press “Draft stories from my vault”. AI turns the achievements in your Career Vault into STAR stories — only your facts, with [placeholders] where a result is missing. Or press “Add a story” to write your own.

  2. 2

    Cover the competencies

“N of 12 competencies covered” shows which qualities have a story. Tag each story with the competencies it proves; one good story can cover two or three.

  3. 3

    See what each job needs

A job’s Interview tab shows Story coverage: the competencies that job tests and whether you have a story for each. When you open a likely question, matching stories appear under it.

  4. 4

    Practise telling them

Press “Practise” on a story. The interviewer asks the question for its competency and scores how well you tell it — on a call or typed.
