Understand your feedback and improve

Every answer is scored on the same five things interviewers judge, with a stronger version built only from your own facts. The fastest way to improve is the loop: read the feedback, open the stronger version, try again.

Step by step

  1. 1

    Read the session summary

At the end you see an overall score out of 100, a one-line verdict and your stats — answers, pace (words per minute), filler words and how long you took to start. The five bars show where you’re strong and where to focus.

  2. 2

    Know what’s scored

Each answer is scored 1–5 on Structure (a clear situation → task → action → result), Specifics (systems, scale, your own actions), Relevance (answers the question asked), Impact (a result — a number or a decision it changed) and Clarity (concise, confident). Most real answers score 2–4; 70+ overall is interview-ready.

  3. 3

    Open the stronger version

Under each answer, “See a stronger version of your answer” rewrites it using only facts from your answer and résumé. Where a number is missing you’ll see a [placeholder] — fill it with the real one.

  4. 4

    Say it more naturally

“Say it more naturally” shows wording a fluent speaker would use, and “Practise saying it” lets you read the stronger answer aloud until it sounds like you.

  5. 5

    Try again

Press “Try again” to answer the same question better. Your new score shows next to the old one, for example “55 → 78 (+23)”.

  6. 6

    Redo your weakest answers

“Call again on your weakest answers” (or “Redo” when typing) starts a short session with just the answers under 70 — same interviewer and style.

  7. 7

    Review the call

“Transcript” shows the whole conversation with timestamps; copy it or, if you recorded the call, press a timestamp or “Listen” to replay an answer.

  8. 8

    Track your progress

On AI Interview, “Your progress” charts your scores across sessions against the 70 “ready” line, shows each skill then vs now, and names the one to work on next. “Phrases to fix” collects wording fixes from all your answers, with a “Say them out loud” drill.
